We’ve seen some sweet soirees around these parts, but I swear this one takes the cake. Because, yes there are hula hoops at the reception (so awesome), and yes, Save The Date Event knocked the styling out of park (seriously, such a home run). But what I love the most is, this Bride and Groom look like the happiest people on the planet, and that makes me the happiest wedding blogger on the planet. More here.
From Happy Confetti Photography…Katharine and James are one of those couples who just enjoy life and wanted a comfortable wedding that showed off who they are, a fun loving couple! The weather was perfect when Katharine and James said “I Do” by the river on the beautifully manicured lawn at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons. After the ceremony guests enjoyed lawn games, drinks and adult snow cones while looking at photos of the couples family members weddings. Everyone says that rain is good luck on your wedding day, if that is true then Katharine and James must have the best luck in the world! Not only did the rain come at the perfect time as guests were entering the pavilion, it then stopped right after dinner and a beautiful double rainbow appeared. Katharine had a very talented group of friends who made all of the floral arrangements! The room was the perfect setting for a delectable family style meal from Catering By Design. For dessert, guests enjoyed an amazing selection of homemade pies from Tee and Cakes. Guests worked off their wonderful meal by dancing to amazing music from the Parlor Pickers band. Katharine and James wanted their guests to have a true Colorado experience, from the tubers on the river during the ceremony, to the amazing bluegrass music, to the cut-out of a bear that they brought with them, and as you can see from the photos their day delivered the perfect Colorado experience.
