This charming hill country wedding set at the Westin La Cantera Resort outside San Antonio was true perfection. The bride, Emily, found fresh lemon wreaths mixed with bold black and white canopy stripes as her inspiration. She accented kraft envelopes & touches of burlap throughout the event to give the bold black, white, and yellow a comfortable and relaxed feel for summer. Staying true to her classic charm, Emily wanted a touch of something unique and different yet tasteful and bold. Emily and Russ shared the vows on The El Fortin Lawn within limestone arches laced with breathtaking hill country views. Guests were seated under a historical oak tree that spanned across the entire lawn blanketing the congregation in perfect shade. The Reception took place on at the Club house and overlooked the acclaimed golf course, which was a perfect backdrop for photos of the newlyweds. The reception was appropriately cohesive to the overall feel of the wedding and also showcased bold black and white canopy stripes as table cloths. Each table had floral accents adored with fresh lemon give the entire venue the freshest citrus aroma. The couple had the most quaint seating arrangement, with framed monogrammed chalkboards noting their places. Vintage string lights wrapped around the reception site as guests danced the night away under the Texas stars. The newlyweds made their exit in a vintage Rolls-Royce and enjoyed a honeymoon in the Bahamas.
