Elegant and Colorful Wedding in Oklahoma City

Gibson Events never ceases to impress us. We see a lot of color schemes here, but the pops of crimson and green against the subdue blush tones is a new one, and we love it! The arrangements from Poppy Lane are also brilliant and give the overall event a feeling of jubilant loveliness (you can see what I mean in the full gallery). So sit back and enjoy Aaron Snow‘s beautiful photos from the day.

From Poppy Lane DesignOur favorite details are Katie’s blush wedding gown, an 1800’s original pine table for the altar table, and an intimate wedding of 75 guests, century-old landmark for the venue.

The tones were Indian summer inspired… Ivory, blush and light peach with a pop of crimson and greenery.

Rustic ballroom …a primitive farm table with stone urns inside a luxe downtown Oklahoma City landmark, antique mercury vases + gold candelabras with moss spheres and eucalyptus. Landon is a firefighter in Oklahoma City and the bride surprised him with this customized groom’s cake. Katie had a vision to bring new classics into the traditional space. The Venetian ballroom is the original ballroom of the 100 year old hotel. The couple carved aside a few short minutes to enjoy dinner together before heading into the reception… A really intimate detail that allows you special time with your new husband.
