I love ALL engagement sessions, but a breathtaking apple orchard engagement set against a stunning Washington state backdrop? Well, there’s a very special place in my heart for that. Especially if it’s as casually cool as this beauty captured by Joe & Patience happens to be, aka, a gorgeous frolic through some amazing scenery with one killer red dress. From Joe & Patience… Nothing says Washington State quite like an apple orchard. Ryan and Marlo’s engagement session at the Sm’Apple U-Pick Orchard in Ferndale, WA was the perfect backdrop to tell the story of their Washington State background and we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful time do it. It seems like the apple blossoms come and go so fast and it was amazing to be able to photograph a couple who is so in love in the middle of the apple blossoms in full bloom.
It was also the perfect chance to see the flowers that will be used in their floral arrangements. Steve and Sarah, the owners of Triple Wren Farms and managers of Sm’Apple U-Pick Orchard, are growing Ryan and Marlo’s flowers for their wedding this August. We can’t wait to see how they turn out!
