Serene Wedding on Rangeley Lake

Brooklyn-based couple Alison & Aaron chose to skip the city hustle for a calm, intimate wedding in Maine. The groom’s family-owned golf course, Mingo Springs, provided a perfect venue for a day filled with lots of family, friends, crystal blue water, and pie! Feel free to get lost in the serenity of KLC Photography’s photos, and if you want to keep the peace flowing, you can find more images here.

Alison and Aaron met and live in Brooklyn NY, but when it came to planning their wedding they always knew they wanted Maine. Aaron’s family has owned the Mingo Springs Golf Club for over 40 years and the location was the perfect backdrop for a wedding that was rustic, personal, and jubilant.

The couple took great care to include so many amazing details that spoke to their life as a couple and their love of Maine. Champagne with blueberries was served at the ceremony, the Save the Date and escort cards showed a photo of nearby Rangeley Lake, poems about the three states the couple call home were read (Maine, NY, and Iowa), and they made a surprise entrance into their reception complete with parasols and a New Orleans-style brass band. Aaron’s family’s jewish traditions were also included in the day and I had the pleasure of photographing one of the most energetic and joyful dances of the hora I had ever seen.

It was a wonderful day filled with so much love, laughter, and purely-Maine beauty.
