It doesn’t get much better than sunshine, bright personalities, and sun-yellow flowers. Which is why we’re happy the lovely Hannah from Simply Stellar Photography capitalized on a good sunset and her charming sister-in-law for the inspirational photo shoot below. From Simply Stellar Photography… Here is Caitlin, my beautiful, up for anything sister in law. She is so much fun and has so much love to share with anyone who wants it! We thought it would be fun to dress her up in a very casual bridal getup for a quick, very DIY bridal shoot during golden hour.
All of the pictures were taken in her grandmother’s field and backyard. Everything is a little overgrown and organic looking, which made for some fun adventures together! I made the flower crown just from a few silk bouquets from Michael’s and some lace ribbon. The yellow really reflects the sunshine that she emits when she is around others. We used just some wild flowers we found in the field to make a fun, natural bouquet, and the dress we found at goodwill, of all places! It’s not a bridal gown, but for a rough country wedding, it would definitely be a fun quirk to have such a casual sun dress.
We had such a great time, and I hope that these pictures can spark some inspiration in other brides and photographers!
