Palm Beach Waterfront Wedding

It’s crazy to think that this gorgeous day was planned in just three short months, but let me tell you, loves: when you pair up a fabulous team of vendors with a bride and groom as awesome as these two, anything is possible.  Think a breathtaking waterfront ceremony meets hundreds of happy faces meets all kind of amazing moments captured by David Campbell Imagery.  See them all in the full gallery.

From the Bride… Kenny and I have been together seven years, but marriage still wasn’t high on our radar… at least I thought it wasn’t, until Kenny proposed during a trip to Switzerland last year.

Due to family circumstances we decided to have our wedding as soon as possible and to keep it local.

Scrapping our original plan to get married in Italy, I started calling venues and luckily The Boathouse Palm Beach had an opening, on Valentine’s Day no less!

For two people who had never envisaged their wedding day we knew we had quite a feat in front of us throwing a wedding together in three months! So the theme pretty much chose itself – simple and elegant. One thing I knew I did want was a bouquet featuring roses as homage to my Grandma, which Wedding Flowers By Renee put together along with simple baby’s breath for my bridesmaids.

The day started early with Zada Hair in charge of hair and makeup, making the girls look even more beautiful than they already are. We had a short, simple ceremony with Jessie Cacchillo, styled by The Wedding PA and Waves & Weddings for 85 guests on the Northern Beaches.

Our wedding photographer friend couldn’t take the photos as he was in our wedding party, so he put us onto Dave from David Campbell Imagery who was a joy to work with and did a fantastic. He also has an amazingly fast turnaround time!

The Boathouse looked stunning when we got to the reception and far exceeded any expectations we had. I didn’t have a chance to eat much on the night but I am so glad I had a piece of our wedding cake created by Cakes Plus as its one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. And it held of raining long enough for everyone to dance the night away!

So much love went into this wedding and we can’t thank our friends and family enough for all the help and time they gave in putting it together.
