From KT Merry… Peony and Richard traveled from Singapore for their destination engagement session in Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez. With family in Los Angeles they felt California’s beautiful landscapes and sunshine would be the perfect fit for their session. We worked together with Joy Proctor Design to create unique details to pair with the beautiful backdrops. Everything came together beautifully to create a one of a kind Save the Date for their destination wedding next fall in the Maldives.
From the groom, Richard… My love story with Peony began under the most unlikely of all circumstances – at the same firm where we both worked! I was just about to venture out to pursue my own business, but Peony who just joined, came up to me on her 2nd week at work and introduced herself over a handshake. And just like that… She completely swept me off my feet with her charming personality and radiant smile. After a group dinner date, I knew I had met someone extraordinary. I followed my heart and plucked the courage to ask Peony out, and our forbidden office romance blossomed after a whirlwind first date in Hong Kong.
Both Peony and I share a zest for traveling to far flung places, stretching our gourmand taste buds, and discovering new life experiences. Peony is the charming go-getter, perfectionist, life of the party, witty and mischievous partner; while I am the eternal optimist, fanatic runner, easy-going, loyal and patient companion… With her by my side, life is that much more colorful, and I look forward to many more days of sunshine and laughter together.
