From the Bride… I never wanted a big wedding, so having a small intimate family ceremony was all that I needed! Pink (all shades of it) is obviously my favorite color which I represented with pink ombre flowers as well as pink shoes and pink dresses for my sisters/bridesmaids. Other guests coordinated with the color scheme!
As far as decor, I am drawn towards shabby/rustic styles and prefer simple, yet elegant.
When we decided on our location at the Ojai Valley Inn which had a beautiful tree – that sort of became a theme! We found super cute invitations on Zazzle that had a tree where we could personalize our initial etched in a heart. We emulated that with branded wood with the same heart and initials K+T (which is now hanging on the wall at our home!). We carrried that K+T theme through on our tags on our welcome bags, the menus, placecards, our cake toppers, as well as our take home gift (Ojai Olive Oil) with an embossed tree stamp over our K+T. We had even picked out a limited edition Ketubah with a tree pictured.
Overall, it was a perfect day. I cannot think of anything that I would have changed that could have made it better.
