Romantic Wedding at San Francisco City Hall

There are so many things to love about this small soiree. Can we talk about the Bride’s sweet and elegant Noir dress by Lazaro? It couldn’t be more fitting for an intimate wedding with your nearest and dearest. And what’s more, these two lovebirds were wed by their best friend. Does it get any better than that? IQphoto was there to capture every moment and you can see it all right here!

From the beautiful Bride… We grew up together in Massachusetts. We probably met in the sandbox, around 3rd grade. We’re best friends. Chris and I have known for a long time that we were meant to be together. We’ve always had a strong connection and just see the world the same way. A memory that always makes us both laugh is when Chris wanted blonde hair in 6th grade so a friend and I took it upon ourselves to bring him blonde! Looking at the photos now of his electric yellow hair always makes us both laugh.

We’re both very active people so hiking, walking, exercising in general is something we love to do together. We went up to Muir Woods to hike to the way to top where you can lookout over Stinson beach. 7-ish miles later of Uphill hiking, we soaked in the scenery and started making our way back down. On the way down, in the sun, sweating, we stop because we see two baby dear surprisingly close to us. Chris got down to take out his camera and snap a few shots and next thing I new he took a ring out and proposed. I cried, and said yes, of course!

Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. It was exactly what we wanted. We wanted a small, intimate wedding for just our 25 nearest and dearest. City Hall was the ideal location. The building is magnificent and the perfect backdrop. We planned the wedding ourselves.

We sent our save the dates and invitations out using “Paperless Post”. It was amazing, easy, affordable, and our guests loved it. We also created our own programs for the ceremony. I purchased card stock from The Paper Source and went to a professional printer.

My best friend, Kiely, officiated the ceremony. Since Chris and I grew up together, he knew Kiely well too. It was extremely special for both of us to have her be such a big part of our wedding. We worked together on the script and vows, it was perfect. We had friends and family take pictures during our reception at Kokkari. It was really organic and intimate. The food, wine and service were amazing.
