From Yellow Hook Productions… The wedding took place in June at the Alder Manor Mansion in Yonkers, New York. Vanessa (originally from Puerto Rico) and Nathan (from England) met in acting school and wanted their DIY wedding to have a touch of old-Hollywood charm. The day included a garden ceremony,

strung lights on the mansion patio, chandeliers, projected films, a Bentley limousine, a banquet-hall dinner, an elaborate choreographed first-dance, and a sparkler-wielding crowd seeing them off.

The old mansion and grounds were incredibly picturesque in a worn-and-weathered kind of way. The crowd was a lively mix of people flying in all the way from England and Puerto Rico – some of whom hadn’t seen the couple in years – and their personalities are palpable on camera.
