Winter Bridal Shoot

I’m not usually one to venture out into the 23 degree weather sans down coat and warm boots, but if it means capturing drop-dead gorgeous images like the ones in this breathtaking shoot from Shannon Von Eschen of Shalynne Imaging, then count me in.  Because this, loves, isn’t just any old bridal session, it’s a lavender-infused masterpiece with beautiful blooms from Bare Root Flora and light-filled images aplenty. See them here.

From Shannon Von Eschen of Shalynne Imaging… I wanted to send you a session I shot just two weeks ago with a dear friend who was moving to London the day after Christmas. We did a bridal session of her and her horse and we were so excited to collaborate with the ever-amazing Robyn from Bare Root Flora here in Denver! Her floral headpiece, wintery bouquet, and horse wreath were breathtaking… as was Victoria, who glowed in the images. I’d given Robyn a design board that had gold baby’s breath on it and seeing her bring it to life was heavenly! It matched our winter grounds perfectly. And though you can’t tell because I shot into the sun, it was only 23 degrees that day. We had to shoot everything in bursts of five minute sections because the wind was blowing pretty hard and all of us were honestly afraid to freeze to death. You can actually see the breath of the horse in some of the shots!
