From Nicole Arena of The Green Ribbon Party Planning Co....Leighton and Tim came to me about eight months before their wedding. They cared about two things - having an awesome dance party and great guacamole! They were completely open to any ideas so we set about the task of assembling a dream team for them so they'd get exactly what they wanted.

For their ceremony they chose the First United Methodist Church, where a traditional mass was held. Their reception took place at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum, which is a charming space with beautiful adobe walls and a sun-bleached look. In keeping with this look, we wanted pretty, muted colors. Heather from Twig & Twine did an amazing job of bringing the space to life with gorgeous herbs in aged terra cotta vessels and some touches of peach and soft yellows. Apricots adorned each place setting and served as a tasting treat for guests when they first sat down.

SBB Gourmet Catering granted Tim's wedding wish with a fun Mexican buffet and plenty of homemade guacamole. For dessert, guests indulged in a sweets table with delicious cakes and pies from Susiecakes, featuring the always delicious celebration cake .The dancing at this wedding was some of the best I have ever seen. DJ Hecktik from Gavin Roy Presents did a fantastic job of getting the guests on the dance floor.

All of the revelry was captured beautifully by Paperwhites Photography and videography by Run and Shoot Productions.
