From LVL Wedding And Events… Sara and Dave are an absolute delight and I had so much fun working with them to plan their dream day. Both LA transplants, her from Idaho and him from England, also both lawyers and wanted to create a wedding weekend for their friends and family to come out and enjoy quintessential Southern California.
When we began looking at venues they thought they wanted something ocean front. In our tours, we never found something quite right. As I began to get to know Sara and Dave it was clear they have a passion for good food and good wine. After a long day of tours, Sara wanted to show me their wine club spot that could be a good candidate for the rehearsal dinner or wine tasting activity. As we pulled into the gates of Cielo Farms Member’s Tasting Room, I immediately in love. We drove up the olive tree and vineyard lined road to park and step out into a slice of heaven. You feel transported to Italy! It was there we discussed this being the perfect spot for their wedding and worked closely with the event manager, Cory at Cielo Farms to make that dream a reality.
Some of the great details: we used a bottle of the couples favorite Cielo wine as the guest book to enjoy on their 1st anniversary, we also used the delicious olive oil and balsamic from Cielo on the tables for the guests to enjoy with dinner. The cake topper order on Etsy was a tribute to the couple’s favorite weekend activity riding bikes together along the California coast. The bar included bubbles and wine selection from Cielo as well as the groom’s choice signature drink – Pimm’s Cup for their American and English friends to enjoy together.
