Green and Gold Marvimon Wedding

When it comes to St. Patrick’s Day, things can tend to fall a little closer to the cheese side of the spectrum, so we’ve been saving this beautiful green and gold soiree to class this day up exponentially. Designed by the talented Sweet Emilia Jane, the wedding is packed with so many perfect moments, I can’t decide which is my favorite (though I’m leaning to The Little Branch’s blooms). Take a peek at the gallery from Birds of a Feather Photography and weigh in with your favorite detail below!

From the stunning bride… In terms favorite moments…we ended up incorporating several personal musical elements into our celebration. Ben’s mom and uncle sang one of his original songs in our ceremony. Our dear friend Greg preformed an highly unique and beautiful song he wrote for us before dinner (I think it freaked out my Midwest relatives, but we loved it). And my best friend and bridesmaid Val’s band played for the first hour of the reception.

We also LOVED that our friend Elizabeth officiated our ceremony. Her poised presence brought a special, personal touch. And we were very pleased in the end that wrote our own vows. It definitely stressed us out during the sunup to the wedding but totally worth it in the end. My only regret was that we didn’t record it!

My advice to brides is trust your professional crew! From the food to design, our wedding planner, Emilia, had masterful command of the day’s details. We didn’t need to worry about a thing!

From the planner… Leigh and Ben are an amazing, unique, super smart, funny and cool couple. Their wedding was one of the most personal weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending and a total reflection of them through and through. Not just because of all the little details we incorporated but because of the sweet touches that they included through their very personal ceremony, music selections and the incredible contributions from talented friends and family.

After thinking we might outgrow one venue to finding another venue to moving back to the original venue, the planning process definitely pushed us to think creatively and outside the box. Leigh and Ben were such troopers through the whole thing and never lost sight of what the day was really about. The crew behind their perfect day was top-notch from Room Forty to The Little Branch to Birds of a Feather to TACT who helped bring everything together so effortlessly and exquisitely. We could not have asked for a better team or a more perfect couple!”
