Monday needs a little something extra to put a pep in your step, don’t you agree? Well today that something extra comes in the form of this stunning soiree planned to perfection by All You Need Is Love Events. It’s filled with every little thing that makes my heart sing (hello gorgeous florals from Rockrose Floral Design), and each picture perfect moment captured by Lavender & Twine is waiting for you here.
From the Bride…My fiance Chris and I wanted an outdoor garden feel for our late spring wedding, and when we found the Ojai Valley Inn we knew it would be perfect for us. Envisioning a muted, neutral palette with silvery-green herb toned accents once we found the Inn’s herb garden we knew it would be amazing spot to bring our vision to life. We incorporated a mix of peonies, garden roses, lots of ivory and blush colored flowers mixed with herbs and lavender for added texture, to enhance the beauty of the herb garden and it’s expansive lawn.
Our ceremony was held in a courtyard, guests mingled and snacked on local fare under a pergola of wisteria during cocktail hour. The reception was held in under the most gorgeous tent flanked by two large wooden bars. Outdoor furniture created a lounge area for late night s’more-making and mingling. Play-doh and crayons were provided to keep our littlest guests occupied.
Another important consideration was that our dog, Kylie, was not only allowed to be present but also a part of the festivities. She attended the ceremony and was adorned with her own personal accent flowers.
The day couldn’t have been more perfect and we are having a ball reliving it through our beautiful photographs!
