From the Bride…As avid travelers, Peter and I thought that a destination wedding with our closest friends and family would be the perfect way to get married. We chose Maui for its natural beauty, laid back vibe and ease of travel for our family. From the moment we stepped into Haiku Mill, we knew it was the perfect place to start the first day of our lives together. There was something so effortlessly romantic and beautiful about its ivy covered walls and twinkling chandeliers. Even without any flowers or decoration, the place was magical.
On the morning of the wedding, although we received a short blessing of rain, the sun soon started to shine, and the Mill looked absolutely stunning. From the garden roses and orchids arranged by Teresa Sena to the striking rustic chandeliers – the day promised to be more than we could have ever expected. Getting ready in the bridal suite with Jessica and my mom was a wonderful treat on the morning of the wedding. Ryan and Ryan, our stylish photographers, were just as excited to be at the Mill with us and captured our special moments throughout the day. Stephanie from Garnish, welcomed us with our delicious signature drink, the Braveheart; and our favorite music serenaded us throughout the night. Being foodies, we were also impressed by Maui Executive Catering and their impeccable service. Peter and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and we reveled in every moment. It was all this bride could have ever asked for – marrying my one true love surrounded by everyone who loved and cared about us.
