On the eve of our favorite day of the year, we knew only super special events could grace the blog – and this elopement inspiration? Well, let’s just say it was made for this time of year. We couldn’t agree more with Brittany Lauren Photography when she says that elopements are the most romantic, and obviously, we couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day than in this gallery!
From the photographer… Inspired by the recent engagement season and the holiday that celebrates love, a couple of us Portland wedding professionals decided to get together and put together a stylish and chic Valentine’s Day Elopement to inspire brides who are romantics at heart because let’s face it, nothing says romance like eloping with just the person you love and your closest loved ones.
We kept with a color scheme of deep red, pinks, and gold to keep things modern and chic. Our bride wore a short dress slightly remnant of Jackie O with a gold belt and deep red floral crown and our groom sported a tux with a shirt decorated with the tiniest of hearts in honor of the holiday to update and liven up his suit.
We wanted to inspire an elopement because we believe they truly focus only on your significant other, romance, and the kind of teenage joy we all get when we’re with the one we love.
