Bristol Wedding at Blithewold Mansion

This wedding is perfection.  The kind of perfection that combines soft pink hues with lush florals from Richard Carbotti, a sophisticated (+ stunning) Amsale gown and a tented Blithewold Mansion reception that is all kinds of magical.  In other words, it’s one seriously pretty party and you can see it all captured by Rebecca Arthurs right here.

Brendan and Lauren met seven years ago at Bentley University and could not of had much more in common, from family upbringings to lifelong goals. It doesn’t happen everyday where you find the person you want to spend the rest of your life with at the age of 19 and your sophomore year in college. Brendan had planned to study abroad his second semester, so the timing was not great as Brendan thought he would have the opportunity to study abroad as a single man! Plans changed as we went abroad leaving his love in Boston and Lauren visited him in London and the two lovebirds traveled to Paris together. This was only the beginning of their long love story together!

From when the bride was a little girl, she always knew she wanted a fairytale wedding that would be romantic and ethereal in feel for both herself and her guests. Having the bride’s godfather marry them during their ceremony only touched the tip of the iceberg for the personable touches. It was as important that all of their family and friends that meant so much to me had the most intimate and amazing experience which had many in tears as they shared their self written vows and joined with their guests in a “Warming of the Rings” ceremony, their guest were able to bless their rings with loving thoughts.

It could not have been more clear how important family was with all of the little touches and even a first look with both the father-of-the-bride and groom! While getting ready, the bride had so many “old” components, from the garter that her mom had made from her wedding dress to the handkerchief the bride would carry that her grandmother made to the bracelet that her mom let her borrow. The most touching was on the bride’s bouquet where she had a grandmother’s handkerchief wrapper around then with the other grandmother’s brooch attached. Even the groom wore the bride’s grandfather’s cuff links!

The photo’s of the both parent’s wedding day were displayed for guests to view along with a cigar bar that the father-of-the-groom put together himself! All of the inclusiveness, love, and family made this wedding inspirational.
