Gold + Blush Hilton Head Island Wedding

Oh, beautiful Hilton Head Island affair.  I’ve been yearning for a beach vaca in a bad way and you just couldn’t have come at a better time.  The lush pink florals from Flowers By Sue, the gold DIY details styled by the stunning bride and the overwhelming sense of joy captured by Dana Cubbage Weddings… it’s magical.  See it all right here.

From Dana Cubbage Weddings… Lindsay, Thomas and their families traveled from Lexington, Kentucky to get married at Hilton Head Island in late October. It was an amazing wedding, full of the couples’ personality, thanks to the carefully thought out DIY details put together by Lindsay. From the gold horse cocktail stirrers (a nod to their hometown of Lexington) to the glitter table runners to the gold giraffes that adorned their wedding cake – an inside joke between Lindsay and Thomas – everything was beautiful and full of sparkle, just like Lindsay herself!  And her dress… oh that dress! It was by far one of the most unique and beautiful gowns I’ve ever seen. Lindsay’s Wtoo by Watters gown was the PERFECT dress for her and their beachfront wedding. I was simply blown away and had a blast photographing it!

Lindsay and Thomas opted to do a First Look, which was amazing, and gave us ample time for photos before their sunset ceremony. Officiated by Lindsay’s childhood pastor, it was a truly touching and personal ceremony. The night was capped off by a selection of delicious lowcountry fare provided by Downtown Catering and everyone danced the night away under the stars next to the pool. It was an absolutely beautiful, fabulous wedding and Lindsay did such an amazing job of putting it all together herself.
