Little known fact: if Hugh Jackman makes an appearance on your wedding day, it’s a sign of incredible things to come. Incredible things like a stop-you-in-your-tracks modern soiree planned by Bliss Events featuring a whole lot of magical moments captured by Love Madly. From Love Madly… Capturing Katie & Dustin’s wedding story yesterday was a lot of fun, but did have its challenges. Being that the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is in full swing, the police and security guards were extremely strict around the rules of filming and photography. On several occasions we were informed that this was completely forbidden, no footage inside of the hotel would be allowed AT ALL, yet somehow we had to ensure we were able to capture their story with as much detail as possible. Katie was getting ready at the gorgeous Shangri La. Imagine her surprise when the elevator doors opened and in walks the handsome and talented actor Hugh Jackman. With a congratulatory kiss on the bride’s cheek he made the girls swoon. Word of this excitement spread like wildfire as Instagram photos were uploaded and profile pictures on Facebook were quickly changed. This was definitely the highlight of the morning.
Inspired by her father’s British heritage, Katie and her Dad rode in a London Taxi to the AGO. This upbeat couple who are most famous among their group of friends for holding over-the-top theme parties and being ridiculously funny and entertaining certainly pulled off the party of the year last night. Shealyn from Bliss Events brought together some of the industry’s leading professionals to make their vision come to life perfectly in the modern spaces at the AGO. The elegant table lamps combined with hundreds of candles and gorgeous florals from Frank Rea of Forget Me Not Flowers really made the reception room look spectacular. Their Same Day Edit Video really captures their day perfectly! We wish Katie and Dustin a lifetime of love and happiness!
