Classic Mint + Pink Pelican Hill Wedding

If you could take a peek inside my dreaming head,  you’d find this wedding. Beautiful, cascading flowers from Hidden Garden Floral Designs. Lovely light captured by Heather Kincaid Photographer. And that veil. This, my loves, is exactly what dreams are made of.

From the photographer… Erica & Teddy, though they live in New York, wanted a big, beautiful wedding near the coast in California since Erika grew up there. They chose Pelican Hill for it’s gorgeous views of the ocean and beautiful grounds. Coordinated by the team of Debbie Geller Events, the wedding vibe was a perfect blend of classic romance, with a hints of both modern and rustic details. Especially beautiful were the custom and truly unique linen invitations by Lehr & Black, which really set the tone for the whole event months before the wedding even happened. The bride wore an ivory lace gown by Anna Maier-Ulla-Maija and a stunning cathedral-length mantilla style veil which further demonstrated the classic and romantic vibe that the bride and groom wanted to have for their special day.

The flowers arrangements were rustic and loose and included hues of white, ivory and lavender. There were personal touches throughout the decor of the event including custom-made trivia cards that were placed on each table designed to entertain the guests when they first took their seats for dinner. They also incorporated the groom’s Scottish heritage by using his family tartan for pocket squares, Erica’s garter, and they even cut the wedding cake using a special ceremonial Scottish knife.

This was a truly grand wedding in which no detail was overlooked and resulted in a truly beautiful day for all.
