From the Bride… Mike and I met in college at NYU through fraternity and sorority life! For eight years we continued to date throughout my attendance at medical school and his job relocation to Texas, and never once did our dedication to one another falter. Our relationship has the word “soulmate” written all over it. Having only grown up 15 minutes apart from one another I’m surprised the stars did not connect us earlier in life. Just before starting my job as a physician at NYU and moving in together in NYC, Mike and I took a wonderful Italian vacation where he proposed on a gondola at sunset on our first night in Venice. On our arrival home we had a surprise engagement party in our apartment, planned by our wonderful friends and family. Apparently, everyone knew I was getting engaged except for me!

We spent the next two years basking in our engagement and slowly putting together our wedding. Mike stems from a large Italian family and we have a big group of friends so having a huge NYC wedding was the only option. Both of us were born, raised and lived our entire lives in NY, so it was only natural to have our wedding here. Once we saw Gotham Hall there was no doubt in our mind that we were to have our wedding in that glorious building. The glass dome ceiling and stunning architecture, impeccable lighting, and beautiful draping created a magnificent venue. From day one, I knew I wanted Christian and Mike Falco to photograph my wedding day. There are no other photographers that are able to capture the moments in the timeless detail and quality than the Christian Oth Studio. Working with David from Fairytale Studios was a treat, and their work is outstanding. We couldn’t have planned the day without our lovely coordinator, Gina, who knows all the ins and outs of planning a wedding. All of our vendors were stupendous, and we were very lucky to have such wonderful people helping plan our special day!

Our wedding was a perfect, beautiful day and we were surrounded by the most loving and supportive friends and family two newlyweds could ask for! We are very lucky to have one another and begin a lifetime of blissful marriage together.
