Young and deeply in love, Genna and Brayden hosted a romantic and fun filled wedding for 100 guests at Murray Hill in Leesburg, VA on March 30th, 2013. They shared their special day with family, friends and their son Troy, a very important part of their lives they were building together.
The ceremony was held at the historic estate of Murray Hill situated on a cliff overlooking the rushing waters of the Potomac River. The flowers and romatic vibe was set off perfectly with décor from Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and flowers by Holly Chapple Flowers. Genna also picked the haunting song “A Thousand Years” to walk down the aisle too and there wasn’t a dry eye in the field. It was dramatic and unique all at the same time.
Photographer Katie Stoops captured a favorite photo of the couple riding in a vintage limo over to get their first look of the barn reception. Their reaction to the barn that Events In The City created truly brought to life the couples feelings towards each other. Gasping, crying and squealing were all heard as they walked through this gorgeous space. Combining the elements of rustic barn wood that Brayden loves with the luxe feel of crystal representing Genna was a merging of styles and lives.
Guests reactions were also priceless and surprised as they entered in for dinner by Ridgewells Catering. Some favorite elements were the hand carved wood chargers on the headtable that the groom cut himself, the ombre wedding cake by Jason Reeves of the Salamander Resort, and the mirror tops guest tables.
