Fall Wedding Inspiration at Praetorian
January 2, 2014
Anyone that knows me knows that I go completely gaga for two things: fall inspiration and loft weddings. So when those two things combine in a drop-dead gorgeous photo shoot from some seriously talented vendors, it's sort of like a re-do of Christmas morning.  One that is overflowing with rich, dark hues, lush blooms from Rosetree Floral Design and a whole lot of yummy (+ pretty) fruit.  See it all captured by Rachel Whyte in the full gallery... and have a Happy New Year, lovelies!

From Rachel Whyte... For this specific shoot, I was able to partner with wedding vendors in Waco and also talented friends of mine from Texas and Louisiana. We wanted to do something romantic and fall inspired, and we chose to incorporate various fruits - plums, pomegranates, cranberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cherries, figs, and kiwis. I used my mom's wedding china and flat wear, which was so fun!

The shoot was originally going to be outdoors, but because of the weather, we had to find an indoor location. It worked out perfectly! Some friends of mine, Peter and Summer Ellis, own a historic building in downtown Waco, the Praetorian. It is an old bank turned office building turned Loft apartment building. Summer is the talented jewelry designer behind Summer Ellis bijouterie. On one of the floors of the Praetorian are studio spaces designated specifically for creatives and artists. Peter and Summer started Anthem Studios last year and it has been a catalyst in growing and promoting the arts in Waco. It's really exciting!
