Winter weddings are the bees knees to me. They are filled with layers and layers of gorgeous texture on top of layers and layers of love, and really - how can you just not love that? This beauty from J. Harper Photography is the perfect example of why I'll never tire of cold weather weddings, and you can see all the reasons why right here.
From J. Harper Photography...Rustic-chic meets New England Glam! Kinsley is something of a design guru, and her skills were on display at this NYE wedding for sure! She designed her & Nathan's custom invites, as well as her beautiful vows to her now-hubby. She was so wise with me (her photographer) in requesting specific shots ("frost on window panes, wreaths, sparklers!"), so I went into the wedding with an exact idea of what she was looking for. Genius! If you could only see this room prior to her decorating - it is plain, simple, maybe even a little boring - she absolutely transformed it with TONS of candles (ceremony was no-flash, all candle-lit), twinkle lights, gold & silver accents everywhere (check the bridesmaids gowns!), and hand-picked cloth coasters that her mother & her scavenged for at antique shops. She even did the ole' Pinterest trick of freezing pine bows in large food cans to create outdoor candle holders for the aisle... I die. I'd hire this woman in a heartbeat to plan my next party!
