There literally aren’t enough words in the world to do this wedding justice. It’s that simple. Because when we come across an English garden affair this insanely special, I count my lucky stars for photographers like Rebecca Lindon who capture the day well beyond anything I could ever write. From Rebecca Lindon… Hannah and David Carlisle were married at Glemham Hall in Suffolk, England on 14th September 2013. Hannah is a florist at Veevers Carter and has an impeccable elegance and sense of style. Glemham Hall is an incredible beautiful English estate that dates back to 1228. Veevers Carter adorned the venue with the most incredible flowers including a show-stopping cascade of flowers and candles on the majestic wooden stairway which Hannah walked down to meet her fiance.
Cocktails and macaroons (baked by her Hannah’s sister Emma Kong who also baked the cake) were served in an old English walled rose garden whilst the guests enjoyed music played by a string quartet. The reception took place in a marquee within the grounds of the estate where guests dined on a buffet of fabulous Mediterranean and middle-Eastern dishes – created by a chef friend of the bride.
Hannah’s dress was Dakota by Enzoani and her shoes were crystal-studded Louboutins. The menus and all envelope and table calligraphy were completed by the bride herself and Marita Wai whilst the calligraphy for the invites came from Perch Paper.
