From Jennifer Kathryn Photography...Inspired by Pantone's 2013 color of the year, Emerald Green, Loreen Hospodar of Reenie Rose, Meghan Andalman of Lovebird Events, and Jenn Gaudreau of Jennifer Kathryn Photography designed this romantic rehearsal dinner with a masculine edge.

The shoot took place at The Boarding House, an on-trend restaurant in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The restaurant’s existing décor – patterned wallpaper, a mounted deer head and a chandelier made entirely of wine bottles - became prominent sources of inspiration in our design.
The focus of our tablescape was a recreation of the restaurant’s dramatic wine bottle chandelier. The installation of cut wine bottles, created by Reenie Rose, mimicked the ceiling and filled the center of each farm table. Christine Noelle of Dilly Lily designed bunches of all white floral paired with mercury glass votives to compliment the piece and soften the overall look and feel.

Custom menu cards and table numbers featured a graphic diamond pattern and a silhouette of a deer head, taken directly from the walls of the restaurant. Additional table elements included Emerald Green charger plates and napkins from BBJ Linen, custom menu cards and table numbers from Nico & LaLa and a hand-painted runner with monogram by Reenie Rose. A “Scotch & Sweets” Bar featured chocolates from Veruca Chocolates, a monogramed cake by Elysia Root Cakes and a bourbon selection from the bar.

Our bride wore a short white dress from Bella Bridesmaid. Her bridesmaids were accented in Emerald Green dresses, also from Bella Bridesmaid. The groom and groomsmen were dressed in JCrew. Hair and make-up were provided by Nika Vaughan Bridal Artists. “An Evening In Emerald” was captured by Jenn of Jennifer Kathryn Photography.
