This is what happens when the laid-back awesomeness of Costa Rica and an uber-elegant party meet. Pure, unadulterated pretty with some of the most beautiful details you will ever see.  I'm talking a stunning (and I mean stunning) Lazaro gown, cool silver and green hues and breathtaking scenery every which way you turn.  Oh, and an entire gallery of pretty captured by A Brit & A Blonde?  It's sooo good. Click here for more.

From A Brit & A Blonde... Chris and Lauren live in NYC and chose Costa Rica as their tropical destination wedding, but that doesn’t mean their wedding was any less formal. The stunning neutral color scheme of silver and white set the tone for this upscale jungle wedding, complete with with macaws and toucans arriving just in time for the ceremony. Chris and Lauren tied the knot high atop a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They had selected Nosara which is an off the beaten path spot in Costa Rica to say their I do's. Nosara is a haven for those who love to surf or do yoga and to get out of any touristy feeling places. We really adored the personal touches the couple made - like including a fun directions sign for all the places there guests had come from and indicted the distance they had travelled. The bamboo arbor was festooned with white day lilies, hanging orchids and crystals that were repeated in the clear acrylic chairs, crystal charges and table arrangements. The bride carried a bouquet of white day and calla lilies. Her attendants carried white calla lilies. And the super fun signature cocktail that was hand painted on a piece of driftwood found on the beach in Nosara - the Perezoso Peligroso which is spanish for the Dangerous Sloth. The sloth is a super adorable and very slow moving animal from Costa Rica - hardly dangerous at all. But so fun to say in spanish Perezoso Peligroso!

We are in love with Lauren's wedding dress. Who says that just because you are having a destination wedding, your dress needs to be simple. She went all out and she looked gorgeous. That train! Stunning.

At sunset lanterns came on overhead and candlelight added to the fairytale magic. A dessert bar of all things chocolate took the place of a traditional wedding cake and wish lanterns were released just as the moon made its appearance.
