Malibu is where the magic happens. It's where the prettiest brides team up with the most talented vendors (hello, All You Need Is Love Events!) for wedding bliss under the SoCal sun. And this Malibu shindig? Think an al fresco fete gone modern in the very best of ways. Add Zoom Theory into the mix, you can bet your bottom dollar we're in for a serious treat. From Zoom Theory... The bride + groom chose elements that were simple and modern to fit their personal styles. With her elegant lace dress with feather studded train, to the custom wrap bridesmaid dresses - it was a pretty sight! For the reception, tables were adorned with stones as place cards, and solid wood tables with the couples favorite cities as table numbers. The couple has included some dancers during cocktail hour, and had amazing catering from Heirloom LA. They love surfing and scuba diving so naturally a wedding along the coast was the perfect spot for their wedding day!

From the couple... This surfer-scuba, California-Canadian duo fell into one another's path at a holiday party ( with some persuasive prompting from friends) and never looked back. A year and a half later, the bride and groom, accompanied by 160 guests, many from Canada and abroad, tied the knot in a multi-faith ceremony at the Adamson House in Malibu, as Saturday surfers captured the sunset waves.

Thanks to our wedding team, our wedding day was more magical and fun than we ever could have imagined. With a short window between our engagement and wedding, our wedding planners ( Vikki and Shannon at All You Need Is Love Events) and Salina at the Adamson House were pivotal in pulling everything together and settling last minute hiccups. They were so calm, organized and really fun to work with. The girls had fantastic suggestions for vendors too. From the caterers to the officiants, to the decor and lighting, everything went off without a hitch. And our brilliant photographer Meredith captured it all beautifully on film. Thanks all!
