This sweet little family of three has officially stolen my heart. Like forever and ever, throw away the key, and it’s got everything to do with these incredible snaps from miss Emily Blake. She let story unfold behind the lens, and today we’re reaping the rewards. I’m talking all-white blooms by Art With Nature Design, a chocolately yum-fest from Susie Cakes and sooo much happy it could almost hurt your heart. Almost. Dive straight into this Italian style fête right over here.
Carly & Clay chose the symbol of olive branches throughout their wedding especially to remember the peace God provides. It also tied in perfectly with an Italian theme inspired by their honeymoon adventure in Italy, which they left for the very next day. Their wedding was designed to celebrate the goodness of God in their lives, their love for one another & the start of their life together as a family with Carly’s 2-year-old daughter Savannah, who was the special guest of honor. To them nothing said celebration like an Italian family feast! A menu of Bruchetta, stuffed mushrooms, hand-tossed gourmet pizzas & of course GELATO set the tone, along with decorations featuring their olive motif. Clay’s mom handmade napkins for each guest featuring rustic black & white ticking fabric & strewn throughout the event where hits of their rustic/elegant Italian theme.
Clay & Carly will always cherish the memories of their special day. Especially being surounded by their friends, family & special little guests- the children! A father daughter dance was held for Clay & his new daughter Savannah, who were later joined by all fathers & daughters in attendance. It was especially important to the bride & groom that Savannah have a memorable day she could look back on as the start of her new family. Clay included a beautiful vow to her during the ceremony & a special table was set for Savannah to enjoy the evening with some of her little friends.
We are so very grateful to all of our amazing vendors, family & friends who made this season of celebration so rich & memorable for us! We could not have imagined a better beginning of our journey together as a family of three.
