I do believe my jaw dropped the moment I laid eyes on this wedding by Just For You Photography. Maybe it was the stunning Claire Pettibone gown or the perfect details planned by Filosophi Events or maybe it was the breathtaking florals from Delovely Creative - it's all worthy of a jaw-to-desk moment. But I am pretty sure it was this couple's first kiss as husband and wife that really got me, and with a wedding this pretty, that's saying something. See all the magic here.

Colin & Alanna are an adorable couple, he's a musician and she's an air traffic controller, and both are just the absolute best kind of humans - funny, thoughtful and purely genuine and sincerely kind.

They decided to have a 'destination' wedding - they are from Edmonton, Alberta - and chose scenic Vancouver, BC as their location to tie the knot.

Working with local vendors from afar under the guidance of Vancouver based event planners Filosophi Events, Alanna & Colin created the perfect day which in their case meant elegant but relaxed and down to earth, and with touches of their playful and easygoing personal style. The highly coveted Brix Restaurant in Vancouver served as the location for the whole event, with the ceremony and cocktail hour happening in their signature urban courtyard and dinner inside the brick walled, intimate dining room. Delovely Creative did an exceptional job with the decor and flowers - chandeliers mixed with string lights, chevron runners with contemporary chairs, and 'wild and crazy' florals in all type of containers from bottles to vintage trophy cups came together to create a mood that was decidedly 'Colin & Alanna'.

Musicians from Side One Band played custom arrangements for the ceremony and kept guests entertained through the cocktail hour, and after dinner a candy and dessert buffet featuring desserts from Vancouver's legendary Cartems Donuterie provided an extra treat for the guests.

The best moment of the day was during the ceremony, when Colin surprised Alanna by serenading her with a song and there was not a dry eye in the house. The wedding was a perfect example of making a wedding reflect your true self and own style rather than just a collection of pretty things.
