I think we can all agree: Texas weddings are the epitome of rustic chic. They’re all at once laid-back, sophisticated and uber-elegant, with the perfect dash of glamour at every turn of the way. A day that mixes gorgeous details, fun-loving farm animals and breathtaking scenery with a bride and groom who really know a thing or two about throwing a wedding. From Mary Boyden… In true traditional southern style, Lauren & Colin got married at the Methodist church she grew up in in Albany, Texas. The pastor knew her as a little girl, and teared up through the whole ceremony. They celebrated with minimal decor supplied mostly by their venue, Stasney Cook Ranch: wild flowers, candles, and of course – taxidermy animals from the ranch. I loved spending the day with such sweet, laid back people, and navigating through pastures of cows to get to the venue!
