Because this is a day that is not only rich with gorgeous details and light-filled settings (oh, is it ever), but one smiling face after another literally filling your entire computer screen. This wedding video tells the story of Donatella & Sam, married in a typical South of Italy countryside. Donatella was born in Italy, but lives in London where she met Sam (with a Peroni beer!)! We love the wedding video with country style, because you can breath calm and serenity, and the magic colors of Apulia that the sun draws. We have been inspired by two simple guys who are very nice and funny.
Donatella has worked hard to customize her marriage. In fact she wanted to recreate, with a country style, the colour and the taste of her childhood in Apulia, a region lying on the heel of the boot, deep in the South of Italy with white stone farm houses surrounded by olive groves, where the blue of the sky meets the sea. For their wedding video I chose a color correction (hot), because I’m inspired by the land characterized by summer droughts and the red brick and also the smells of the herbs – rosemary, oregano and basil, the tomatoes left to dry in the midday sun, the sour taste of freshly squeezed lemon juice. That is why the wedding was planned as a big countryside party where the family and friends could enjoy themselves in authentic Italian style.
Being a mixed Italian and English wedding, many guests had never visited that part of Italy before and they wanted to experience a traditional wedding. After the Catholic ceremony a feast of local food and wines followed; the euphoria of the dancing and partying lasting until dawn.
