DIY Wedding at Pheasant Run Golf Club from Avangard Photography

These two sweeties are crazy talented.  The kind of crazy talented that is making me wish I had just one tenth of their crafty goodness running through my veins.  Because this is a wedding that showcases every single one of those talents, and it’s jaw-droppingly gorgeous from start to finish.  I’m talking DIY invites, jewelry, fabric flowers (and more) dotting every inch of space.  See it all captured by Avangard Photography  in the full gallery, and get ready to fall head over heels for every second of pretty.

From the Bride… The day started out with pouring rain, but as we were driving to the venue the rain stopped and we were able to have our ceremony outdoors! It was wonderful to celebrate with our family and friends, and we were also celebrating my grandfather’s 97th birthday!

I like making crafts and my husband likes graphic design, so we tried to DIY as many elements of the wedding as possible. My husband made the invitations, table numbers, menus, seating chart, thumbprint guestbook, and cake toppers. I made my hairpiece, veil, bridesmaids’ jewelery, groomsmen’s boutonnieres, cardbox, lantern lights, and the tea favors. My mom and I made the floating candle centerpieces and fabric flowers for the aisle.

We were lucky to have many of our talented family and friends involved in the day – our friend Steve was our officiant, our friend Katherine played the flute beautifully at the ceremony, my father and sister performed the recessional song, and our friends Sarah and Cindy performed our first dance song.
