Does it get any better than a classic black tie affair? I spend my time with the prettiest of the pretty weddings day in and day out, and a classic black and white soiree wins every time. It’s just a feeling you get while you flip through the images (and holy moly the ones from Robert & Kathleen Photographers capturing this wedding are ridiculously good). Goosebumps, smiles, and warmth. That what the classic wedding is.
From the photographers… This past May we photographed a stunning couple’s wedding held in one of the chicest towns on the Jersey Shore (one with tons of touches of what the shore towns were like nearly a century ago – THE place to see and be seen). It’s the wedding of Emma & Stu at the Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club in Spring Lake, NJ. To give you a bit of information about Emma & Stu – they met in NYC at a party they both happened to attend. She knew he was the one a few months later when they ventured out onto a road trip along the West Coast. I guess you could say that beautiful destinations seem to be a thing for Emma & Stu. They’ve built a life together here in New York and decided to tie the knot just steps away from the ocean in his home state of New Jersey. They selected the Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club because of it’s clean almost West-Coast vibe (Emma is originally from Oregon) and planned a classically beautiful Hollywood-style affair that dazzled their friends and family and left them smiling well into the evening.
