Garden Inspired Photo Shoot from Chelsea Scanlan Photography

This garden shoot is every wedding blogger’s dream. I mean, a mash-up of draping ivy, dusty pink peonies, and dainty gold details all styled up by Bon Wed is enough to tip any pretty-loving heart right over the edge. But that’s only the beginning. You see, Chelsea Scanlan filled up a gallery I could easily obsess over for days on end. And truth be told, my plan is to do just that. Join me right here.

From Lindsay Rondo…With a quaint venue aged over a hundred years old with draped ivy over old brick, a garden inspired wedding was perfect for a space with an abundance of character. Inspired by aged pieces, new love, and blooms from every corner, this intimate garden wedding idea had our romantic hearts from the start. How wonderful it was to team up Bon Wed with Chelsea Scanlan Photography to make this romantic garden love come alive. Love is in bloom!

With such sweet romance, the Austen gown by Illume gowns completes our ultimate feminine look in all French lace. Going in a nontraditional route, the bride wore a wide-brimmed hat adorned with blooms. The groom looked equally stunning in his tie by QP Collections that created the inspiration for our paper elements and stationary by Amy Arthurs.

The main table is covered in dainty pink and white striped linens by La Tavola Linens and linen napkins greet each seat. Antique mint plates set with pink glass create an inviting seat in the garden to celebrate love. Just as the garden pours her flowers in abundance, the table is covered in beautiful baskets of blooms and gold-leafed terracotta pots full of peonies, ranunculus, and hydrangeasthe garden’s best! Guests visit the escort card wall created from the old garden walls and sprinkled with flowers.

For dessert, we created a doughnut table full of delicious doughnuts for the sweetest ones to enjoy! “Doughnut you know I love you” created by Amy Arthurs displayed the fun play on words for a love-filled day. The stationary and paper elements helped to give the finishing touches to the romantic garden wedding and complete our overall feel. What a pleasure it was to have our inspiration wedding photo shoot captured by Chelsea Scanlan Photography! And thank you to our beautiful models, Elle and Ben!
