Vintage Tea Party Photo Shoot from Catie Coyle Photography

Let’s face it: the week after a holiday weekend is always a little crazy.  The kind of crazy that comes from trying to frantically pack five days worth of work and activities into into ninety-six awesome hours, rather than one hundred and twenty.  It can be madness.  But when a sweet dose of inspiration like this adorable 1930’s tea party shoot from Catie Coyle comes your way, you can’t help but stop and soak it all in.  Because with lush florals from Sweetness & Light Floral Design and the fab stylings of Events by Satra, this is the kind of shoot that begs you to sit back and relish all of the pretty.  Take a breather right here.

From Catie Coyle Photography… I worked with a small group of female business owners who put their heart and soul into making this styled shoot a success! We wanted to go with a 1930’s theme and Alana’s Cafe in Redwood City was the perfect venue. It holds a special place in my heart because it is actually where I got married in October 2010! It’s an old Victorian home from the 1800’s that has been converted into a restaurant and is surrounded by beautiful Victorian gardens. The tea sets, vases and napkins used in the shoot came from Satra’s mother, my grandmother and various thrift stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. The French settee, as well as the table and chairs, were kindly donated by Mignonne Decor in Berkeley.
