New Zealand Wedding from Peta Mazey

I’m pretty sure if I was invited to this wedding captured by Peta Mazey, I would still be there. Because there is no way I’d ever want to leave.  Not only was it hosted at the Groom’s gorgeous family farm, but it is overflowing with personal touches crafted by this duo and their talented family. I’m talking personalized, hand made spoons for each guests – that level of personal. From the dress to the flowers to the cake and right down to the food they ate, this talented group of folks created not just a lovely wedding, but one with a whole lot of heart. See it all here.

From Peta MazeyChloe and Matt’s Taupo, New Zealand wedding was a total DIY showcase, with nearly every detail being overseen by the couple and their friends and family. The wedding was held on Matt’s family dairy farm, with an addition to a hay barn being made to make for the perfect reception venue. The ceremony was officiated by Chloe’s grandmother and Matt’s family minister. Matts sister hand made the personalized spoons for each guest, the boys hunted all the meat for the day. One of Chloes sisters designed the dress and her school friend made it. Chloe even baked her own cake and decorated it with flowers from Matt’s mother’s garden. Chloe’s friend Liora from Toodles Noodles was the head designer/decorator and other friends pitched in to do flowers and hair. The list goes on and on… This couple have some talented loved ones. Beyond all the pretty details it was a day full of joy and love and fun, reflective of this awesome couple. The cricket was a hit, with the bride even having a bat in her wedding dress!
