Boston Wedding from Shane Godfrey Photography

Boston weddings are always breathtaking. That is a fact. But a Boston wedding at the Boston Public Library? That’s next-level lovely. And when it’s all captured by Shane Godfrey – well that’s when I know it’s time to stop everything I am doing and soak up every .last.image. Because this, ladies and gentlemen, is a Boston wedding done oh-so-right, and it’s all waiting for you right here.

From Shane GodfreyWe did a first look right as I arrived in the main library room at the Boston Public library. The sun streamed through the full floor to ceiling windows as Krista walked up to meet Ben. We then went right into family and bridal party photos followed by a ketubah signing and the main ceremony in the center of the Boston Public Library which has amazing stone work, columns, and a fountain in the center of it. After the ceremony we had cocktail hour during which we did the bride and groom photos in Copley Square right in front of the Boston Public Library right as the sun was setting. Then the reception was held in another section of the library followed by dancing in a separate room upstairs off the main library space where Kahootz did an amazing set for the bride and groom’s first dance, as well as the rest of the night. Towards the end of the evening the bride changed into a lighter dress and some fabulous Louis Vuitton heels.
