Wedding at The Villa San Juan Capistrano from RomaBea Images

You know how I knew I was going to absolutely adore this wedding? The photographer (the amazing Beatrice Howell of RomaBea Images) described it as a complete “dream.”  A dream filled with pretty pink hues, lush florals from Marcia L.Johnson Floral Artistry and one gorgeous moment after another set against the breathtaking beauty that is The Villa San Juan Capistrano.  That’s the kind of wedding that I can fully get behind, and when you add in a stunning bride and groom sooo in love, it’s palpable, well… just call it a dream day here on SMP.  Click here for all of the pretty.

From RomaBea ImagesDescribing this Wedding is like describing a dream. One filled with blush colored roses, a Bride & Groom that looked like Hollywood stars and so much emotion it was nearly impossible to restrain oneself from letting the tears flow. There were so many moments that just tugged at the heartstrings… that moment when a Father first saw his little girl as a Bride, with her Mother looking on to both her husband and daughter crying tears of joy, overflowing with emotion herself. The touching First Look, where both could hardly believe that moment had arrived, when they would soon become Man & Wife. The speeches that didn’t leave a dry eye around and the closeness both families shared as their lives intertwined around the Love of Jessica & Michael.

The day was intimate and displayed personal touches such as the Hand Painted Invitations by the Groom’s Sister, who was also a Bridesmaid. Those invites depicted both the Bride & Groom in front of The Villa surrounded by the same ivy that grows on it’s historical walls… and the whimsy of the Bride holding a string with a Dragonfly on the end of it hovering just above. Such was the level of detail in personalization, that the very cookies laid out for guests were their own version of that Dragonfly.

It was a beautiful ceremony, one I was honored to capture, and one that most certainly tugged at my heartstrings, and made me cry.
