From Bonnie Jenkins…Simon and Fumiko’s wedding was such a wonderful blend of both Japanese and Australian culture. Yandina Station was the perfect setting as was the weather for this daytime Sunshine Coast wedding. Simon was best man at a wedding at the Yandina Station 10 years ago and knew that this was the ideal place for his own wedding. Simon, Fumi and Fumi’s family travelled over from Tokyo for the wedding, getting a great feel for the Australian countryside offered at the venue. The origami cranes offered a little taste of home set amongst the rustic environment. While organising their wedding day from Tokyo offered some challenges, the day came together just as the couple have hoped.
