Melbourne Wedding from Daniella Melfi

This is the kind of wedding that pours on the pretty with bundles upon bundles of simple, yet sophisticated details and that downright glamorous vibe that we’ve come to know and love from Australian weddings.  You know the one.  It’s rich with elegance, stops you in your tracks and is responsible for more than its fair share of swooning.  See it all captured beautifully by Daniella Melfi in the full gallery.

From Daniella Melfi… I shot Atalanti and Adrian Biasi’s wedding in January this year.  I was seven and a half months pregnant and it was a HOT summer day!  I was a little nervous to begin with but I had my husband by my side assisting me and one of the most easy going couples I have ever worked with!!  They were constantly telling me to sit down, take a break… it was fantastic. It was honestly one of my most favourite weddings I’ve shot to date… Am I allowed to say that?!

The botanical gardens in Melbourne set the scene for the wonderful ceremony.  After the ceremony we walked around and just took photos with whatever caught our eye!  The array of colours of flora and fauna was fabulous.  The reception was in Kew at The Boulevard.  Just next to the car park was this amazing pathway lined with trees.  It was incredible!!  The light was perfect at this point, too (gotta love that golden sunset light) and so we got a lot of great shots before we had to head into the reception.  The reception was set out nice, clean and simple.  Just as Atalanti described how she wanted her wedding to be.
