Hotel Bel Air Wedding from Docuvitae + Red25 Events

Before you even get swept up in all the lovely captured by the seriously talented folks at Docuvitae, promise me you’ll take some time to read the description from the Groom. Because his sweet words about his gorgeous Bride will make all the gorgeous details designed by R. Jack Balthazar and realized by Red25 Events even more amazing then they already are. Because you’ll know there is heart behind every touch. So yes, this is one chic Hotel Bel Air fête, but it’s also pretty darn special too. See it all here.

From the Groom…Let me start with this: Emily is the love of my life. She’s my best friend, my partner, my confidant. She makes me a better man, and I know that there’s nothing I can’t do with her beside me. When I first told my friends these things about her, they called her “Pegasus”. A woman this great seemed more likely to exist in mythical tales than in the real world. I assure you, she is very real.

Like most couples, when things started getting serious we asked each other lots of questions. Over and over my answer to her questions was the same: “Only always.” I don’t know what life will bring us, but I do know that we will do it together. Always.

When we first discussed getting married, we agreed that what is most important about a wedding is that it’s our opportunity to make a lifetime commitment to each other in front of our friends, family, and God.

I suggested we elope; I wanted to get married seven times – once on each continent and then come back to Los Angeles and have a big party. Emily politely acknowledged my romantic concept, but like most women she wanted a real wedding.

We wanted the wedding to be a reflection of us. Elegant but not showy. Chic but a little bit Rock and Roll. And we wanted everyone to have a really good time. We chose the team at Red25 events because from the first meeting they understood us (FYI, the wedding’s over – we’re now friends with these folks).

I let Emily handle the details of the wedding, because it’s girl’s stuff. What I can tell you is that after all was said and done we got exactly what we wanted from the very beginning. A celebration of our commitment and union. Only always.
