It’s Friday, and in honor of the highly anticipated weekend kickoff cocktail hour, we’ve got a sultry little engagement shoot from Craig Photography, which kind of screams (in the best way possible) Don Draper + a martini glass. From the photographer… This was probably the most fun shoot my husband John and I have done in a very long time. Amanda (bride) and Mike (groom) told me they wanted a unique E-Session and when I asked what they had in mind, Amanda said “I want the Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt “Domestic Bliss” photo shoot in W Magazine meets a Dolce & Gabbana ad”. I was THRILLED! I immediately thought of a suite one of our brides used to get ready for her wedding at the Fairmont Hotel in Pittsburgh. I contacted them, pitched the idea and (thank goodness) they loved it! They said we could use their suite for the shoot.
Amanda allowed me to conceptualize, design and direct this session so I had the freedom to do what I wanted (which was pure bliss). Amanda and I started a Pinterest board and pinned what we thought might be good wardrobe ideas for both she & Mike. So this shoot is sexy and sultry but also fun and flirty.
