Holy moly, this is an engagement for the books. For the most stylish of books. The minute I laid eyes on the images from Mel Boulden Photography my jaw dropped to the floor, because each image is simply beyond. From the couple’s stylish frocks to the industrial feel (and that fabulous pink wall!) – there isn’t a thing I don’t love about this e-sesh, and you can see it all right here.
From Mel Boulden Photography…When I met Nicki and Heath I could tell these two were a fun loving couple who loved to socialise and eat out. They love city life and so I wanted to incorporate that into their E session. I had planned to shoot in the city (Rundle Street) but as it turned out, this happened to be the opening of the tour down under! It was ridiculously busy, so we were unable to shoot there. I did a quick last minute scout and found some industrial locations that suited perfectly as a juxtaposition to the formal wear and that sparkly, sparkly dress!. I did not want to incorporate too many props into the shoot but Nicki found some wild grass on the side of the river which we used. The love these two have for each other is ridiculously obvious as is the huge amount of fun they have together. They spent the whole shoot laughing and joking. These two were meant to be together and I was utterly delighted to be able to document this gorgeous time on their lives for them.
