From Ashley Biess Photography… Courtney and Mike were married on the most beautiful spring day at Independence Grove in Libertyville, Illinois. The trees, lake, and freshly blossomed flowers created a beautiful setting for the couple’s spirited celebration. Originally, the couple had planned for a church ceremony, but had difficulty finding an available church for a Sunday wedding. Instead, they decided to keep everything at Independence Grove and incorporate their religious values into the service there. It was a beautiful ceremony, full of happy tears. Cocktails were served outside on the veranda where guests could enjoy the weather and take in the gorgeous scenery. Courtney and Mike chose a crisp color scheme of peach and gray that perfectly accompanied the spring weather. Their decor was classic, simple and beautiful. The reception room featured floor-to-ceiling windows and filled the space with natural light. Courtney, Mike, and their friends and family could enjoy the views of the sunset from their seats. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed an array of wedding cake and sweet treats at their dessert bar. Courtney and Mike ended the night with a special sparkler send-off. It was a wonderful day!
