This bride is drop dead gorgeous. Like seriously, stop you in your tracks. Le Mariee was set to the lucky task of enhancing that beauty for her wedding day, and if there were one thing that could come close to matching the stunning bride, it was her wedding. Captured by Sweetwater Portraits it was a gorg soiree centered around an even more beautiful love. And it's all right here!

From the beautiful bride... Our wedding day was not only perfect but it was an absolute blast! It was a true combination of our personalities and who we are as a couple. I love romantic, southern belle, French-Provence influenced style. Whereas Brad’s style leans towards simple and rustic elements. It was extremely important that everything about our wedding day reflect who we are as people and how much fun we have together. When all was said and done our wedding had the rustic and organic elements that Brad loves (sunflowers in mason jars and mis-matched vases for the cocktail hour) and romantic/French-Provence influences during the reception which included tons and tons of candles and moss draped vases with gorgeous flowers. Most importantly though, it was fun and I got to marry my best friend. Truly a win-win.

One thing that made our day so incredible were all of the personal touches we incorporated. Most of our reception was do-it-yourself projects. We had a long engagement (two years) and collected wine corks throughout the process. We used the corks to create a huge corkboard which became our escort board. I then took vintage tags and hand wrote each guests name and table number. We found the frame at a thrift shop and I distressed and painted the wood to match our colors! It was so awesome walking into our reception and seeing the board we had worked so hard on. Another special touch was our table numbers, they were photos we’ve taken from all of our travels over the past six years. Brad made the photos look vintage to match with the vibe of the reception. One of my favorite items though has to be our guestbook! Since Brad and I have been together for six years we have hundreds of photos which we used to create a scrapbook of our relationship for our guests to sign. There were over 50 pages of fun (and silly) pictures of Brad and I, our friends and our families. It was great flipping through the pages to see where people had signed and what they said. Overall, it was such a special night. Being able to look out at all of our friends and family and seeing how much fun they were having made all the hard work we put into planning our wedding totally worth it.
