Noosa Wedding from Calli B Photography

As soon as my eyes spotted the first image snapped up by Calli B Photography of this dreamy Noosa wedding planned by Events of Noosa, I basically surrendered the rest of my day. I knew that, as hard as I tried, there would be no looking away from something this beautiful. With a color palette that simply couldn’t be more breathtaking, a setting that couldn’t be more serene and a couple that couldn’t be more in love – getting lost in the prettiness makes for one gorgeous way to spend your day, and you can do just that right here.

From Kim Eibrink Jansen, Events of Noosa….My first meeting with Renai & Brad was one I remember well. They were both so lovely, relaxed and excited about their wedding plans in Noosa, but they had a special connection that I picked up on immediately. And they really wanted to cement their relationship to formalise their family with 2 small boys that keep them ever so busy while both working.  Coming from Sydney, they didn’t have time to put together a wedding, let alone a wedding interstate, so we worked together quite closely over Skype to put their dream wedding together.

Incorporating soft apricot bridesmaid dresses, taupe & white for the boys, lots of soft white fluffy fresh peonies and other garden flowers from Mondo Floral Design, elegant apricot & white stationery from Sugercoated Events, Renai & Brad’s Wedding was going to be quite different to anyone elses, combining all that they loved into one complimentary design. Renai had a great Pinterest page that we used as inspiration to bring all these elements together, however she still wanted some of these elements to be a secret. And when asked “what do you like about that photo on Pinterest” I was told “not to worry about that one, I don’t actually like that. it is only on Pinterest to throw my friends and family off the track to keep some of the elements a surprise!”

The wedding came up very quickly and before we knew it the day had come. On the day, the girls were pampered and transformed by Nicola Daly & Pru Edwards. The Ceremony was divine, situated on a lush green amphitheatre overlooking the gorgeous Noosa Beach at Maison La Plage Grove, conducted by John McKechnie. Guests were then ushered by the Wedding Planners to their awaiting transport, greeted with refreshments whilst climbing into shuttle buses taking them to a secret location in the Noosa Hinterland while Brad & Renai ventured off with their photographer, Calli B, for some scenic beach and rainforest photos.

The reception held at a private residence in the Noosa Hinterland, Casual Coastal Elegance with Neutral colours, white with peach/apricot tones combined with burlap & fresh green, Renai & Brad wanted a relaxed but elegant affair that captured every essence of what they loved with a particular “lounge at sunset” theme high on the mountain overlooking the spectacular Noosa Coastline, important for their predinner cocktail hour. One thing Renai said to me after the wedding was that when they arrived back from their photos, they walked into the cocktail hour buzzing as the feel and atmosphere was exactly what they wanted.

Then as day slowly turned to night, guests flowed through 2 long tables overlooking the Noosa coastline encompassing the theme with eclectic burlap wrapped jars of apricot David Austin Roses, babys breath, delphinium and garden roses, the guests were then greeted by a spectacular Alfresco Feast with meats, salads, vegetables & breads spread along the length of the 10 metre long tables where they chatted and shared portions of Waygu Sirloins, Organic Chicken & Fillets of Barramundi together with colourful salads & fresh vegetables designed by Noosa caterers, Rolling Dolmade. Wedding Cake for dessert with two tiers – one citrus the other white raspberry mud. Divine!! The Phoenix Duo, captained by the amazing Darryl Murphy, kept everyone entertained throughout the night with a DJ friend taking over later on enabling everyone to let loose, with the bride doing a bit of rap to some funky tunes which she was apparently known for, and partying into the night before going back to Noosa to continue the festivities.
