Sonoma Wedding from Adeline and Grace Photography

When beautiful chandeliers meet towering trees and an entire table of pies meets a breathtaking outdoor setting, I go a little crazy.  That’s what tends to happen when elegant details mix and mingle with rustic locales… pure, unadulterated happy.  And when that backdrop is the beautiful Beltane Ranch and that gorgeous day is filled to the brim with stunning florals from Sharla Flock Designs, locally grown yummy from Elaine Bell Catering and moment after moment of pretty captured by Adeline and Grace Photography?  Awesome.  Join me in the gallery for more.

From the Bride… Mark and I met in Boston, where our relationship blossomed over a shared love of Anna’s Taqueria burritos, our adorable pups, and the fact that we were both Bay Area natives. We traveled back to California to visit our families together over the years – and those trips usually included a quick detour to wine country! When we got engaged, we knew that it would be the perfect place to celebrate our wedding – and treat our East Coast friends to a fun-filled weekend with great food, wine, and some of the most beautiful landscapes in California.

We chose Beltane Ranch because of its natural beauty, and loved that it was a farm/ranch/vineyard/adorable inn – all in one! My style is more casual, and Mark’s style is a bit more formal, so we dressed up our venue with elegant details with the help of our amazing vendors. I chose Sharla Flock because I loved the mercury glass vessels that she often uses (not to mention her gorgeous, lush florals). Elaine Bell Catering did a wonderful job all around – helping us to create a delicious menu of locally grown, organic foods, and working with us to source our rentals, including the settee and chandelier that served as our photobooth backdrop. I’d always loved the idea of having a table filled with pies, so we ordered a selection of strawberry rhubarb, apple, and peach raspberry pies from Sweetie Pies – fresh, local, and delicious! Everything was captured beautifully by the wonderful Tiffany Walker of Adeline and Grace Photography.

We also wanted to incorporate a few traditional elements from both Mark and my backgrounds. We worked with our officiant to hold a Filipino cord and veil ceremony after we exchanged our vows, and during the reception, we held a Korean tea ceremony on the dance floor. Our families loved that we were able to observe these traditional elements in our wedding (especially my Korean grandma!). We were so lucky to have been able to celebrate our wedding at such a beautiful place with so many of our friends and family from both coasts. It was truly the best day of our lives!
